Rattled some cages?
It caused more chuckles than anything. Having worked with a kernel developer for Solaris when it was a truly closed-source OS, I can guarantee you that one point this guy makes is 100% spot on... If you find a bug internally, you don't broadcast it to anyone unless it is going to corrupt data from normal use. You sit on it and hope nobody in the public finds it. If they do, you fix it. This keeps your "public" bug count down as far as it can go. This isn't some new concept that someone just came up with. It's business as usual.
