Voting at polls
There are many good reasons why some people can not vote at polls.

My mother was blind but still voted all the time, she did so by absentee ballot. My brother would read it to her, mark what she wanted and mail it in.

I, when I was in the military, often had to vote by absentee ballot due to the various locations the military sent me (and after I married, my wife also).

So you can not make a blanket statement about going or not going to the polls. There are many very good reasons why someone might have to vote in a way other than going to the polls.
