make them look good to MS. They also can generate hits, which
looks good on an advertising front. " iPods are
security risk , warns analyst" The reason they chose the
iPod, is they are so popular. In all truth, any device that you can
connect to a local machine, is a security risk. The flash drives are
a security risk, so aren't digital cameras, even Microsoft smart
phones are a risk. How about "bluetooth" devices? IE is more of a
security risk than an iPod. What they're talking about is a risk of
theft. I use my iPod everyday at work. But since it's connected to
speakers, it's no risk at all. My 512 MB flash drive, is more of a
risk than my iPod. Yet I don't see the headline as " Flashdrives
are a security risk, warns analyst", How about " MS
Smartphones are security risk, warns analyst", or even better
"windows is a security risk, warns analyst". None of these are
false, but they also don't attack Apple.
