And in other news, Gartner has recommended that all companies
banish photocopiers and fax machines from the premises.

Gartner says 'these devices can be used to copy and transmit all
manners of paper documentation and pose a huge threat to
corporate secrets.'

They have also suggested that all phones be banned as well
since employees are able to call the outside world and let them
know what is going on inside the company's secure walls.

Also, since phones can carry any number of virus threats such as
influenza or the common cold, users are advised not to use such
devices without necessary precautions such as Lysol spray or
surgical masks.

Other virus transmission points are door knobs and coffee pot
handles.

In related news, corporate subtrefuge has been around since the
dawn of man in some form or another. With this in mind,
Gartner recommends that companies have no employees
whatsoever to prevent the possibility of any information ever
leaking to the outside world.

'Humans are the weak link in the chain and must be abolished to
prevent any security risks,' a Gartner spokesman said.
