If you wanna truck to run 300,000 miles then
Use synthetic oil and dual filtration. Ensure you have dual air intake filtration as well, the first one being oil based. Then perform regular maintenance as well plus ensure your driving habits are of good nature.

Translation:
Don't use buggy crappy software without protection. - Synthetic Oil

Use at least 2 styles of security measures (minimum) - dual oil filtration

Use at least 2 styles of AV and Ad Ware removal - dual air filtration

Perform regular maintenance - Patches and updates regularly

Be smart when using your e-mail and surfing the web - Good driving habits.

And you have a better chance of making the 300,000 miles.

Oh and for the record, you can't beat Mobil 1 synthetic oil for keeping an engine in excellent condition. It's used on the the LM2500 and Allison 501 K-17 and K-34 gas turbines as well as many other aircraft engines. Engines that see more harse environments than any average car ever does. These are engines that turn an average of 7,000 to 14,831 RPMs and usually see a service life of 7-10 years barring FOD.
