I don't use IE, at all.
Any web designer who builds a website where it will only work with IE, really isn't doing his job. I know the arguement that there are more IE browsers out there than any other but suppose the car companies took the same approach and said they'll only build cars for righthand drive, that would leave still sizable markets out there unserviced.

It makes financial sense to maximise your profits especially since it only takes a little extra work to open up all of the markets.

I personally write to the webmaster and the sales/marketing of such sites and tell them that they've just lost another custmer, I tell them why and suggest they make changes so they don't loose more. I had a job that required that I log into a website to enter my hours and expenses, unfortunately it only worked with IE, they got the same treatment, along with the explanation that not everyone uses windows and even resposible windows users wouldn't currently use IE because of it's security holes. I still don't use IE.

It's there loss or difficulty not mine.
