Look internally for your hacker.
How many ZERO-Day hacks/virus are there these days? Most are known far in advanced now and AVs are now updated daily. Helps that most start in foreign countries too. The IE7 - phishing... well you got a problem there, cause MS is notoriously lame on updating. I bet this isn't an exception either. But police the websites that you go to using the security settings for Blocked Websites, what is Spybot up to 50 thousand blocked now? And it's free. Use whatever is allowed to block hackers.

The Internal Hack... Now here is where you have a problem. I have a tool (free download) called Network Sucks, I didn't name it just downloaded it, that watches everything connected to my PC. DHCP, AV ENTERPRISE, PRINTER SERVER... Yahoo!, AOL IM, .. Anything new gets a big highlight. Usually it is a MAC or Linux box from the BioMed Research Facility just out looking around the network. It has a kill command to get rid of the pests.
