Let's look at some facts...
First of all, NO ONE has produced a bulletproof OS from the get-go.

Secondly, my install of Vista Ultimate 64-bit is an RTM build from 03/20/2007 and has every available update installed that's been made available since then on Patch Tuesday. Along with all available security updates, this list includes some optional updates, a significant number of weekly Windows Defender (malware blocker) updates, device driver updates, and some Ultimate Extras. The grand total comes to 54 updates, hardly indicative of the existence of massive lists of upgrades that hit Vista every Patch Tuesday.

You might want to try dealing in facts instead of FUD...
