One time zonealarm told me I had more than 50 probes in a half hour times.
And why did you need to know how many times you were scanned? Its the intrusions you really want to know about! Scans are a way to detect the OS running and limit the range of attacks to those which work on that OS. What you really need to woory about are the applications running which get past the firewall because theat's what you need to do to make them work. Don't believe that the apps vulnerabilities can be filtered and detected, move to apps which don't have back doors as wide as a super highway built in for remote exploitation.
