Domestication into

need of using AV ?

I have a Windows box that under three versions of 32 bit Windows been running
heavily on W3 since spring 1994, that without any active AV or firewall of any kind.

Observe without one system crash / third party takeover / virus of any kind.

Simply by consequently avoiding usage of ActiveX/Ole/Com "enhanced"
W3 programs made by Ms.

Think Micro(be)soft enhanced widgets to attract consumer attraction simply
is the major "fertilizing ground", that never should have been spread to the common
users at all.

It's quite easy to snatch in on an export that is registered in an easy available registry database
a'la *.ocx named dll's.
