You misunderstand. It's not hatred. It's side-splitting laughter when the M$ shills make ludicrious claims about M$ security and quality.

I had to support M$ for 8 years. Linux is a picnic compared to the utter frustration at dealing with broken M$ boxes. If I had a dollar for every time M$ support told me I had to reload the OS I could go on a cruise to Bermuda. Not to mention the $$$ tens of thousands my employer could have saved in overtime and double-time pay.

Of course, you are absolutely correct. That is why we no longer use it.

Hatred of M$ is an urban legend. It's the long lunch breaks and the long coffee breaks I get with Linux that make me shun M$. Nothing more. I do, almost, feel some measure of sympathy for the M$ admins that usually have to work through lunch. Almost.

Would I be here, poking fun at the M$ shills, if I had to support M$? Would I?
