And I believe he's correct, linux provides fixes for ALL VERSIONS of the os and all apps. You provided your own links, however you are only looking at one version of windows, so count for yourself. If you're honest I believe you can come up with, oh say 50,000 or so fixes for windows os and some apps, most or all are ms software. Again you and "shadey" are being very one sided. Don't get me wrong, I have a windows 2000 worstation for aud/vid editing but I would be foolish to connect it to the internet. I some times use win 98 to surf the net, of course I have the latest Norton Internet security, but I prefer linux for the net, office etc, you know... the basics for computer, and it is much more secure and way less buggy than any windows os i've used.
