Wrong -- You Just Don't Get It
1 - Yes, you can run downloads with <nLoad events. However, I see little difference between it and firing off a download from an OBJECT tag -- like Shockwave or Java can do. This isn't an exploit or a problem. And as you said, FireFox does prompt you (unlike IE in the article). If you don't want it, click "no".

2 - Red Sheriff isn't spyware. They are a single tracking company that uses a Java applet to report usage stats. You can do the some of same things with cookies or web beacons images. If you don't know the differences between JavaScript and Java, then you should be posting about web security. If you don't want to run it, turn off Java. Being an IE user, you shouldn't be using Java anyways. This isn't an exploit in FireFox either.

3 - DLL injection is more of an issue with the operating system. If you download and install other programs, they have full access to Windows, so they can do whatever they want to anything on the system. You may be pointing out a vulnerability in Windows, but not FireFox.

So you haven't really pointed out anything wrong with FireFox at all.
