Give the Corporations a pass
If the federal government comes to you and says I need information in the interests of national security, your going to give them what they need period no questions asked. You shouldn't have to worry about being sued later for doing what you believe to be your duty when the government was the one at fault for making the illegal request if it was indeed illegal.
