try to understand the problem

Do you have any clue who actually runs the net?

Do you have any clue how many bot armys are out there?

Those guys who send the spam trojans and write the viruses Aka Virii.. are the ones who have current control over the net... Not the ISPs, definately not any govenrment, etc. The net is global, the elite are organized. The government is afraid of the net and every day that it gains more and more control over our commerce and communication is another level of fear for them. But what can they do? they are as powerless as you or I in this game. If three lone teenagers without a clue can shut down yahoo for a day, what do you think 5,000 elite can do?

We could globally decide to get rid of the net all together and everyone can go without... but that's not really a solution now is it?
