This is not about bad admins

This is about flaws in IIS that are being exploited, they did not mention a workaround to fix this. Basicily IIS is broken and others are using to infect users via IE. But your read of Netcraft Stats is wrong. A lot of corp. sites are other then MS. Amazon and eBay run Linux, (off the top of my head, I have not looked up the exact numbers) Akami (sp?) uses Linux and they are the back up DNS for MS. It's not really about popularity with owning Webservers it's that it is easy for these gangs to break in, coupled with the flaws in IE. Use something different for a change. MS is not the best at a lot of things. Stop making excuses for a multi billion dollar company, they have had their chances to fix this. My company I work for is currently replacing every old NT server with Linux. We have not deployed a new Windows server for awhile now. and our systems are getting more reliable. Changing over takes time and money but once it's done your rewards are greater.
