the 378 who responded to the survey and allowed an outsider access to their computer is why this small sample was so badly infected and lax on security. Perhaps firewalls need to have a default setting of basic security that fails safe when the paid subscription runs out. not everyone will spend the money to maintain subscriptions they don't understand.
