Perfect security model?
Um... I think you've mistaken OSX users for Linux users.

Linux is a more secure system, yes, but it has its flaws. Most of them are not remote
exploits, and very few of them are OS flaws, rather they're bugs in applications. In
Linux, the GUI and graphical display services are not part of the OS, they're an
application. The boundary between apps and the OS is pretty solid. Most of the
security problems I've seen in the Linux kernel have been denial of service, not
remote execution or privilege escalation.
