RE: Officials say PR campaign may boost Real ID popularity
I am a born and raised American citizen and am still scrambling to figure out how I am going to get the 6 points needed to renew my driver's license. I have never been married, never been able to afford a house, never been in the military, and am forced to live in my mother's home. Add to that the fact that so many birth certificates from the city I was born in have been forged that I can not use that as ID. Now New York state is going to allow illegals to get driver's licenses. Exactly for whose benefit is Real ID? Apparently it really is just to make certain that the government can track U.S. citizens. How about coming up with a system to track illegals and people coming into the country instead, or is the Federal Government more concerned with a threat from within than another attack from outside perpetrators?
