sounds logical, but...
i think it's too early for me to discount that akamai might be trying to cover soemthign up... you never know when the CEO's son spills orange juice on the DNS server ya know *heh*

either way, it seems unlikely that it was due to the new crash bug in the linux kernel, unles Akamai was stupid enough to allow anonymous ftp or telnet access to their DNS servers...
