Where's the conflict? Actually its funny
Lets see the maker of the most virii ridden OS, whose email
clients propagates these viriis around the world, whose web
browser happily joins in the infection spreading is planning
an anti-virus subscription service.

The same company who in an instant could produce an
anti-virus API and use it in its products (eg IE, Office) so
companies like Norton doesn't have to develop slap-up
collections of code to combat virii (eg the smtp interception
for scanning email) leading to better and cheaper anti-virus
tools for users of windows.

Rather than doing anything constructive to fight malware
on windows they are looking to cash in on the misery of
their users. Its funny.
