To Can or not to Can-Spam

Any law made with a lobbist group will never work. These types of laws are written my lawmakers whom the lobbiest's have in thier pockets. This is why the Direct Marketing Association (or advertising and lobbiest group) should have never been allowed to be part of the process when CAN-SPAM was written. Can-Spam was written to favor the spammer, it was not written for those of us who wade though our email inboxes sifting through spam to get to our email. While it may not be the stupidest law, it certainly is the stupidest law ever written to ban spam.

I've said this before, the only way to make spam go away is to make it unprofitable. Spam will go away if no one can make money on it. This is what need to be done. Take away the money spammers make on spam and you have ended spam. What's the point of a spammer sending millions of junk email if he/she can't make a dollar of it. Take away the money making engine from spam and you have killed spam.

Why can't congress see this??? OH! I forgot spammers are paying them.
