Not what I was concerned about here but
It's good to know that the spam being sent out in my name is not harming computers. The main thing that I see as a problem here is that actual emails are not getting to the intended people because of this. You may be wondering how that is. I run FlatLineArts.com, and recently I have been getting allot of email bounced back to me undeliverable or blocked by spam filters. After seeing this I started looking at the reply to fields of all the emails like are being talked about here. It turns out that they are being spoofed using legitimate businesses.
What this means in the end is that most small businesses, and even some schools, in the US and a good portion of Europe are not going to be able to send email to a customer directly soon and know that they are going to see it.
Another thing to note; all of the .pdf files are talking about Chinese companies. This problem is just going to get bigger and no one is interested in doing anything about it.
