If we had adopted the proposal
that all porn sites used a .xxx extension back then this would not be problem. I could easily filter the schools and institutions I support. It is not hard to imagine that a system to enforce the input of ID codes like proof of age could be implemented to allow freedom of choice to consenting adults with appropriate non record privacy provisions. Then astronomically fine and asset strip those not complying. Like drugs offeders. Pornography is an addiction too, and targeting the addicts is cynical and stupid. This could fund such an effort. The current proposal will be used to hurt small ISPs whilst large ones pick up the scraps...does anyone know an ISP 'owned' by the Government? Cynical mongrels ...
