GOOGLE

How long do you retain those data?
Grand: Google was the first leading search company to publicly announce a finite data retention period for server log data. We will anonymize our server logs after 18 months.

Then why such a long cookie retention policy according to my browser?

Of course I deleted this and re-entered Google into the blocked cookies domain. I just wanted to let it write a cookie because I know this article was a PR stunt. Of course the others are years into the future also, and wanted to show the worst offender. I have other search engines blocked also. I cannot use a toolbar but that is a good thing.
