Titanium to you Zern
Use of monopoly power is indicated. Pay attention. It was not by accident the everyone involved in Itanium at HP, at Microsoft, and at Intel lost their jobs. Itanium was single processor technology. It was salvation for MS SQL Server. It was a Java killer.

Itanium went down like the Titanic after Congressional Testimony involving Patricia Dunn and the HP identity thefts - a story which broke here first because it involved a Zdnet (Cnet) reporter. We need not "learn a thing or two about design/manufacturing/cost/yields, etc and then come back."

We need only know that Microsoft was found guilty of antitrust violations, that its officers hired and enabled Abramoff and that the nation suffers greatly owing to that. It is helpfullto know that Judge Jackson has stated that Microsoft was a crimnal organization. The criminally minded care not about design/manufacturing/cost/yields, etc. It is about the side deal, the bribe, the extortion, the good fellows. MS had much to do with it. Do you really disagree?
