Loverock, Loverock, Loverock... I can't believe you're back at this. You sure seem to hate Google, you "Microsoft shill."

I happen to believe it is you who does not understand business. Do you have any idea how much higher the costs are for R&D than for acquisition? And Google isn't just buying $625M worth of software. They are undoubtedly buying customer accounts (that's an asset), servers (oh, look, another tangible asset), vehicles (yep, another asset), staff (experienced, veteran workforce) and countless other assets from staplers to computers to buildings. Nobody is dumb enough to just buy a piece of $625M software. Not even the "bumbling idiots" at Google.

Oh, and when was the last time you took a look at Google's books? They are far from going broke my friend... maybe you should be a little more guarded with your slander.
