True, it isn't astrophysics. But consider this: If you were going to write destructive code, wouldn't you target what is proliferated the most? Linux and Mac are NOT more secure than any other operating system. They simply don't hold enough of the market to be the most likely target.
Do you think that there is no virus written to target Linux? Get a clue.....
