Come on, read the story okay? Neither the developers nor the mythically fantastic Linux OS caught the trojan. It was a third party software repository providing security.

Jeez, how about trying to develop some credibility instead of just continuing to trash MS - which once again was not mentioned in the article.

To the point - it does not look as if open source at this level (!! - look guys, your god king Linus is involved here - what level higher in your pantheon is there??!!) was any more secure than what happens at Redmond, or at Valve, or anywhere else coding is happening.

Instead of once again regurgitating the mantra of how bad MS is versus Linux - might it not be the time to start a sober and non-judgemental discussion regarding how loathesome the 'black hats' are to all of us?
