I think Symantec wrote it!
Hear me out...

They say it's not out in the wild and it's a proof of concept. Who's going to benefit the most from the virus? The company that writes the anti-virus software to get rid of it.

Besides, do you really think that somebody wrote the virus then sent it to Symantec and said "Here you go Symantec programmers, here's the first 64-bit virus for you to study. I'm not releasing it to the public because there are just not enough 64-bit Windows out there to make it worth my time. I just wanted to prove to you that it could be done. Have a nice day!"
