Any fool can get ahold of an x86 64 bit processor. eMachine is selling them. Between that and a Pirated version of the Windows XP 64 bit beta, creation of a virus is not far behind.

Besides, if you read the article(rtfa) You would realize that this is just a theory virus. One created to prove that it could be done, not to zombie out a proliferate across the web. Linux developers do this all the time to improve the code for the kernel.

So, yes, it was in insider, and yes it was intentional. But, yes, anyone can do it.

I have serveral friends with XP 64 Beta.

Most developers get copies of the software to get their apps off the ground early.

Who are you again?
