ow do you really want software companies dictating the
hardware paltform and the use you may put their product too? I
sure don't!!!!!
They already do. There's only a few motherboard designs out
there, and they're all certified by Microsoft. And probably 90%
of all windoze computers run MS Office and MS IE and nothing
else. One of the huge failures of the PC industry is to act like
they're still shipping TRS-80's when what their customers are
buying is electronic office machines.
Computers used in most business environments should not get
worms, should not get viruses, and should not crash. Period.
