Ada runtime makes many checks

The Ada runtime is required to make many checks. The runtime checks for numeric overflows, indexing errors, null pointers, etc.

I'm not familiar with Eiffel, so I can't comment on it.

Is there a specific check that Ada is not required to make that you are referring to?
