As if govt interference ever helped anything.
Well, more legislation. That is just what we don't need. Another poorly crafted law limiting something that the law maker doesn't understand in the first place. Why not go after the lying spammers rather than Google, who at least was being honest and up-front about how the consumer would end up "paying" for the service.

One of two things will happen here: either (1) there will be huge loopholes as a result of the corrupt politician's special interest bribes, oops wait, I mean soft-money PAC donations; or (2) the law will be made irrelevant through the application of new software and delivery methods.

Our government should concentrate on doing what it is constitutionally required to do: protect our country from attack by foreign foes. Other than that, it should get out of the way and let us try to fix the economy that politicians have broken with their failed promises and outright lies.

Of course, this is just my opinion - that of yet another disenfranchised voter - and your mileage may vary...

Regards,
Jon
