I didn't say...
that Mac users are naive. I asked the question of the previous person did they believe that they were. A big difference from what I posted. I haven't had a lot of contact with Mac users, but the few that I have worked with, showed a lot of common sense, much more than Windows users. But I suppose that is understandable in a way, because the majority of Windows users just can't be bothered to learn how to do more than a handful of things with their PC's.Of course I expect that Mac users will protect themselves, I just didn't say it at the time. The thing that concerns me the most is that Windows users have been exposed to social engineering tricks for some time now, yet they will still open emails and attachments from unknown sources, or download files from all manner of web sites without checking for viruses and/or other assorted nastiness. Some of my friends think that I am paranoid when it comes to the security measures that I use on my home network (Linux & Windows hybrid), but having worked in networking over the years, I don't believe in taking chances anymore. I am making it as hard as I possibly can to stop any malware from winding up on any of my networks (home or work).
