Finally, a thinker.
This goes right along with what I alway say about personal experience not qualifying anyone to be an expert.

Just because you don't like a product doesn't mean it's no good.

Every time someone has the "I switched" story, it's almost like they're trying to convince you so they feel better about their own bad decision. They'll continue to do something that's less efficient just because they don't want to admit they mad a bad choice.

I'm not saying this is always the case, but it's way more frequent than it's counter.
