Close but no cigar
Michael,

You almost got it right but you seem to miss the aim of the legislation; ?Publicly traded companies."

When talking about publicly traded companies, keep in mind that you are talking about nearly every banking system, every power supply company, and most, if not all telecommunications companies.

I seriously doubt if a one time a year audit will adequately protect anyone. Heck I know for a fact that I do ?system update? weekly and even then when I scan myself I find issues?

Just another waste of taxpayer money and a political boondoggle?

Sorry.
