VOIPs to battle on equal grounds

Perhaps the traditional telephone companies should 'shut down' their hard wires for a day.
Let's see if the VOIPs can pick up the slack, or even operate.
Admitedly, taxation may be onerous, and much spending is wasted, however, it's nice to have a Military, Police, Firefighters and numerous other necessary services for a civilization to operate. Of course if all the complainers are willing to volunteer........
