Little Mafia vs. Big Mafia
This just proves that STATES are no less greedy and venal than the feds. What we really have here is a turf war between criminal gangs. This is the death of federalism. Perhaps not a bad thing.

We have way too much government in america. Abolish STATES altogether. they are expensive and are run by second tier mobsters who aren't quite smart enough or ruthless enough for federal office.

It goes without saying, of course, that the rational for states taxing ANY internet service is absurd. STATES have done absolutely NOTHING in support of the internet in terms of infrastructure or it's development. just another business to shake down for their extortion racket.

The feds can at least claim to have started the internet and funded it's development.

bottom line: fvck the states. greedy slobs.
