Complying with the law only guarantees one thing
John L. Ries: "Of course, he doesn't think to wonder why he's being blocked; instead, he wants the feds to force people to accept his mailings."

Actually, he simply doesn't seem to ppreciate the fact that complying with the (generally useless, IMO) CAN-SPAM Act merely guarantees that he won't be prosecuted by the Feds. Individual ISPs are free to impose more Draconian restrictions on their own.
