You got that right!!!

You certianly got that right, friend.
People steal for a few simple reasons:

1)They were never taught to honor the 10 Commandments.
2)If they were, they are refusing to do what God says, and COVET their neighbors goods, contrary to His Commandments.
3)They have never been taught to place boundaries on their hands and eyes.

I'm sure others can find other reasons. But these are the MAJOR reasons why people steal,

The answer to the question posed in this article title is simple:

NO!!! Blame the THIEVES!!!

In the mean time, be careful with your laptop, and don't put it where weak-minded, non-principled, or desperate people can pick it up.

You can also:
1) Put easily-identifiable marks on the laptop's case.
2) Take pictures of your laptop showing the marks, preferrably sitting on your living-room coffee-table.
3) Register your computer with your local Sheriff's office.
