Wow...
It took research to actually figure out that if people know you have a laptop it's more likely to get stolen. Next thing you know they'll come up with research to prove that if you eat too much you're more likely to get fat. Or if you leave your car idling with the doors unlocked at the mall you're more likely to get your car stolen. I hope these researchers are getting paid well for such insight...
