Bug reports have to be verified and reproduced
in order to find where the problem is and what the actual solution is! Welcome to software engineering! Some organizations are quicker at finding/fixing flaws, some do denial until they are exposed, some just ignore the problems. It all depends on who and what the issue is.

If you wish, you can debug the code in Subversion of CVS if you wish to do a code audit!
