The Apple Mac commercials seem to make a case

against PC, when they should have started off stating Windows XP or Vista from the get go. Now they've cheesed off enough people who see PC as being a hardware platform that could run Unix, Linux, Windows, basic, etc etc except OS1-9 and X. Frankly, IMO, I'd rather see a Apple benchmark add with the plus points of stability and longevity. But the generic terms don't make the soundbites on the tv.
