Microsoft is making Windows more secure.
Think Windows Vista! It has a built-in UAC and limits the account to a user-level, which is a good thing to help prevent system-wide changes. Plus, it has a built-in firewall and Microsoft is improving the firewall, too.

As an addition to Windows Vista, there's a "Server Core" for Windows Longhorn, for reducing attack vectors to a bare minimum -- no GUI and unneded services.

Just give Microsoft some time.
