You Sunk Your Own Boat??
I can understand why someone would say that it is safer to buy a Mac over a Windows based machine. People are going to write the software for the most common machine to take advantage of the chance of nailing someone who dosnet do the updates.

But this true from the other side. You are working on a new piece of software and have a choice. Write something for 90 percent of the market or 10 percent. What are you going to choose. Software companies have dropped and picked up the Mac OS over the years because of this. They will make more money with windows than they can from Mac.
