The cardholder can control when RFID cards talk
Even if these cards are issued, the person who finally receives the card can assert control over the card. Since the cardholder can decide when the card talks or not, he can use RFID when it helps him, and turn it off at all other times. This should alleviate most privacy and security concerns, while using technology to our advantage. It sure beats feeling helpless.

Smart Tools offers an RFID Shield that turns off RFID when the RFID card is in it, and allows RFID back on again when out of the Shield. It is also transparent on the side that contains a photo and other written info, so you can show this card to an inspector while keeping its RFID off! There's more info at:
