RE: TOO LATE....bloodhound.packed virus turned my Norton into a virus
Sucks to be you then, $6000 worth of work wasted because you failed to plan a backup of your work, so now you blame Symantec for your internet access on your WORK computer without a backup plan.

You have no one to blame but yourself!

I am a satisfied user of Symantec Antivirus and if I got a virus using it, it was because the virus was too new for ANY software to recognize it! Their website is ALWAYS on the ball for new fixes. Where as other companies rely on Symantec to furnish fixes so they can pass them along to their customers, ie, Panda, McAfee, etc.

FIREWALL SOFTWARE IS A JOKE TO ME IN THE FIRST PLACE. FIREWALL HUBS (US$40 WALMART) ARE CHEAPER AND DON'T EAT YOUR RAM AS SOFTWARE FIREWALLS DO!
