You are just as guilty!
If you did not maintain a regularly maintained backup of your system you are just as guilty as anyone else. Furthermore, what dubious links or attachments did you open to infect this machine? Why can't you reinstall your video production software? Why do you need tech support to load norton? I think your problems have more to do with you then Symantec.
