Do you wonder how Mac users, Linux users got that way?
It's because of the attitude of ignorant Windows users who pass on FUD, lies about
other operating systems, and have this Windows is the only OS worth running
attitue. I'm not talking about typical Windows users but the anti-Mac (or Linux)
crowd who constantly call Mac users and Linux users fanatics while they inhale
from Uncle Bill's magic pipe and feel the need to spread his FUD as well.

It's a fact that these types of viruses don't affect Macs or Linux. I'm sure Windows
has some advantages. Microsoft does an excellent job of making Windows work
with a lot of different hardware, including very cheap hardware. A lot of games
and other software is made to work especially on proprietary Windows snags like
Direct X. The fact that Windows has a 90% or so market share means a lot of
software is available for Windows, but it also paints a big target on Windows for
malware writers and Windows has never been known for security unless you mean
a market for security software.

Apple has been doing well lately. Those silly commercials work and while the
visual puns may be overstated, they are basically true. I laughed my tail off at the
one with the PC cart. The guy who plays PC is awesome! One reason Macs are
doing well is many people are tired of the constant battle with malware. Most PC
users are not ubergeeks and many don't know much about security. For these
people Macintosh is a good solution. Also, many Windows power users who do
know about how to deal with security problems and would enjoy a very stable
computing platform that was designed with user experience as the number one
priority may want to check out Macintosh. Windows is not the only game in town.
